Origin: Unknown, but reportedly Himalaya Mountains

In his book, Epic Tomatoes, Craig LeHoullier describes Nepal  as the “tomato that converted me from hybrids to heirlooms.” This tomato has an intense, old-fashioned tomato flavor that so many people associate with heirlooms. Furthermore, the large plants produce high yields of smooth, red globes ranging from 4-8 oz. In addition to ripening ahead of most heirlooms, Nepal also produces steadily into fall.
